Fiscal Year (FY) 2009 Annual Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) Report
Audience: All Employees, Union Representatives, Employee Health, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygienists, and Safety Officials
Objective: To discuss the expectations and logistics of the FY 2009 Annual OSHA Report and provide Administrations the opportunity for a questions and answers session.

Question – How will Executive Order 441800 regarding text messaging, which is defined as reading from or entering data into any handheld or other electronic device while driving, affect police officers and emergency responders who utilize vehicle computer terminals?
Answer – Section 3 (c) of the Executive Order makes an exemption that would clear emergency personnel from the order. It reads: Agency heads may exempt from the requirements of this order, in whole or in part, certain employees, devices, or vehicles in their respective agencies that are engaged in or used for protective, law enforcement, or national security responsibilities or on the basis of other emergency conditions.
Question – Will the FY 2008 Annual Report to OSHA be posted on the FAP website?
Question – Will motor vehicle accident rates be posted like the SHARE Goals are?
Answer – No, however, OSHA does request information concerning vehicle accidents as part of the annual report.
