Safety and Privacy

Because we want you to be as safe as possible while you are with us, drugs, alcohol, knives or other dangerous weapons, and ammunition are not permitted in the hospital. To protect your privacy and the privacy of other patients, the use of audio and/or video recording devices in or on the grounds of the hospital is forbidden without the consent of all parties involved. This includes tape recorders, camcorders, cameras, computers, and any other sound-video capture devices. No electrical or battery powered devices such as televisions, tape recorders, radio cassette players, etc. are permitted in patients’ rooms.

Persons entering buildings on the Medical Center grounds consent to the inspection of all packages, luggage and containers in their possession. Refusal of consent to the inspection is basis for denial of admission or entry on to VA property.
