The Telephone Care Program is a patient information telephone line. Qualified professionals are available to help with your questions and problems. They will help you or contact your primary care provider. This may save you a trip to the hospital, but it is not an emergency service. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.

If you need to see your Primary Care Provider before your next scheduled appointment, follow these steps:

For any life threatening situation, call 911.

Please do not come to the Primary Care Clinic without a scheduled appointment, even if you are in the building that day for another appointment. "Drop-ins" are strongly discouraged since they delay all those people who have appointments, and will be seen only after scheduled appointments. Scheduled appointments will have priority.

If you are sick and feel you need to be seen before your next scheduled appointment, call the numbers listed below. Please have your social security number and your doctor’s name at hand. The telephone triage nurses will evaluate your symptoms, and recommend a medically appropriate course of action. This might include a telephone consultation with your provider, medication adjustments, immediate care as an emergency, or an appointment to see your primary care provider. The highly trained telephone triage nurses will attempt to schedule you based on the provider’s availability prior to your next scheduled appointment.
