Dr. Wahls is the Clinical Advisor with CRIISP and a faculty member of the Institute for Translational Practice with CRIISP. She is also the Director of VISN 23 Primary and Specialty Medicine Service Line and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Iowa. Dr. Wahls leads efforts in VISN 23 to implement VA Practice Guidelines and identify dissemination strategies from QUERI and other studies that are suitable for broad implementation. As CRIISP's clinical advisor, she plays am important role in advising the Directors, Senior Scientists, and Investigators in the clinical aspects of implementation.
