Dr. Kaboli is a Core Investigator with CRIISP and a VA HSR&D Research Career Development awardee, as well as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa. Dr. Kaboli is a former VA Quality Scholar and VA HSR&D Associate Investigator. He received a postdoctoral research award at the 2001 VA HSR&D Meeting and a SGIM junior faculty research award in 2001. Dr. Kaboli’s research aims are to develop valid and reliable methods for measuring the appropriateness of medication prescribing and to develop interventions to optimize medication delivery and effectiveness to vulnerable veteran populations.
