The Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center is located on an 88-acre campus on the site of historic cavalry fort, Fort Walla Walla, established in 1858. The VA Medical Center serves veterans residing in a 42,000-square-mile primary service area within the VISN 20 network.  Services include outpatient primary care, outpatient mental health, specialty care, substance abuse residential rehabilitation, HBPC, HUD/VASH, and CWT programs.
