SUBJ: Update to FEGLI Booklets

The Office of Personnel Management has updated the online FEGLI Booklets (RI-21) and (RI 76-20 - for Postal employees) to include the new Addendum about Option C. Employees who are enrolled in the FEGLI Program, and have a life event (marriage, children, divorce, or death of a spouse) can now elect from 1 to 5 multiples of Option C. The number of multiples is no longer tied to the number of new family members.

Until printed copies are issued by OPM, you must download the updated FEGLI booklet from OPM’s web site for your personal records http://www.opm.gov./insure/life/index.htm Please provide a copy of this flyer to your local payroll office.
