BIOSKETCH
 

Diane C. Cowper Ripley received her Ph.D. in the Health Services Research, Management and Policy doctoral program at the University of Florida’s College of Public Health and Health Professions (Gainesville, Florida). Dr. Cowper Ripley was the founding Co-Director of the VA Information Resource Center (VIReC) in Hines, Illinois, where she was also a Research Assistant Professor at the Institute for Health Services Research and Policy Studies, Northwestern University. She is currently a Research Health Scientist and the Co-Principal Investigator at the HSR&D/RR&D Rehabilitation Outcomes Research Center (RORC) Research Enhancement Awards Program (REAP) and an Affiliate Associate Professor at the department of Epidemiology and Health Policy Research, College of Medicine, University of Florida. Dr. Cowper Ripley is a recognized expert on VA Data Information Systems and using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools in health services research. Her most recent projects have focused on returning OEF/OIF veterans with rehabilitation needs and assessing their access to and utilization of VHA rehabilitation services.
