Bruce Vogel, PhD is the Director of the RORC Methodology Core and a Research Health Scientist. Dr. Vogel has over 20 years of experience in health services research, health economics, and quantitative evaluations of health care programs. Dr. Vogel recently completed a two-year, $420,000 grant from VA Rehabilitation Research and Development Service to develop a model for determining the optimal locations for VA traumatic brain injury treatment units. He is presently Co-Principal Investigator with Dan Berlowitz on a two-year, $500,000 grant from the VA Rehabilitation Research and Development Service, “Developing Risk Adjustment Methods for Stroke Rehabilitation Outcomes.” Dr. Vogel is also the Director of the Stroke QUERI Methodology Core, and the Director/Associate Professor for the Division of Health Policy Research, Department of Epidemiology and Health Policy Research, in the University of Florida College of Medicine.
