(WC/Safety Tracker)
The Workers Compensation / OSH Management Information System (also known as the WC/Safety Tracker) was developed by the VA‘s Austin Automation Center (AAC), Human Resources Management (05), and the Office of Occupational Safety and Health (00S1). It was developed to enable VA personnel to access OWCP data directly. Analysis of this data will enable VA facility personnel to identify the sources of injury at their facility, to establish priorities associated with occupational safety and health, and to effectively use resources to reduce injuries and illnesses in the workplace and to reduce the costs associated with those injuries and illnesses.
Workers' Compensation Source and Type Codes to address vaccination reactions, e.g., smallpox, and injuries/illnesses concerning decontamination equipment/agents.
