MRSA Infection Control Testing Now on Contract: In response to the Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) initiative (2007-002) to reduce/prevent the spread of Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) infections in the various VA medical facilities, the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Service is excited to announce a newly available contract source for testing of MRSA. Effective November 1, 2007, Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) will be providing MRSA testing under the FSS 66 III, Cost-Per-Test program. BD’s FSS contract, V797P-7130A, is the first to offer this testing and is effective November 1, 2007 through October 31, 2012.
