Program Mission

Chaplains are members of the health care team of this Medical Center. The primary objective of the Chaplain Service is to provide for the spiritual welfare of our patients.

Specialty Services

Our Chaplains, representing the three major religious groups, Catholic, Jewish and Protestant, are on duty seven days a week. They make pastoral calls daily and are available for private consultation. If you should desire pastoral care, please ask your nurse to call the Chaplain Service, extension 4258.

Chaplain offices are located on the second floor, Room A215, and are open for meditation and prayer from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Sunday services are provided on closed circuit TV, on channel 11.

The religious service schedule is as follows:

  • Protestant Worship Services
    Sunday Worship Service - 9:30 a.m.
    Main Chapel
  • Catholic Mass
    Monday through Friday - 11:30 a.m.
    Blessed Sacrament Chapel
  • Jewish Worship Service
    Saturday - 10:30 a.m.
    Nursing Home Care Unit 2 (NHCU2) Dining Room
