The Miami VA Medical Center is a smoke-free facility. Smoking by employees, visitors, service organization representatives, vendors, contract workers, and patients is prohibited in the Medical Center.

There are designated areas located outside the Medical Center, near the south, east and west parking lots where smoking is allowed.
