Medical Center Description

Canandaigua VAMC The Canandaigua VA Medical Center (VAMC) is located at 400 Fort Hill Avenue. The VAMC has provided inpatient and outpatient medical services to veterans living in Upstate New York State for 75 years. They have broadened their medical focus to include long-term care, in addition to its longstanding reputation in psychiatric care. Our medical specialties include: long-term care, Community Living Center, mental health care, alcohol/drug rehabilitation, adult day health care, respite care, post-traumatic stress disorder clinic, domiciliary program, mental health initiative program, and the homeless program.

Affiliations
The Rochester VA Outpatient Clinic (ROPC) is affiliated with the Canandaigua VAMC. ROPC features primary care services for veterans in the Rochester area. Behavioral health offers individual and group counseling to veterans, as well as wellness workshops on a variety of topics. Board certified physicians for primary, urgent, and specialty care make referrals to the Canandaigua VAMC. Services provided at the ROPC include: laboratory services, eye clinic, and a day treatment program.
