About the Medical Center
The Canandaigua VA Medical Center, part of the VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York, is located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region, 30 miles southeast of Rochester in Canandaigua, New York. The Canandaigua VA Medical Center has provided inpatient and outpatient medical services to veterans living in western New York State for 70 years. Located on 150 acres, the Medical Center is host to numerous health care programs and services.

The Medical Center provides primary medical care, as well as a full range of outpatient services, and long-term medical care, including community living center and dementia. Adult day health care, respite care, home based primary care, and residential home care is also available. The Canandaigua VA Medical Center provides acute and long-term psychiatric care, including alcohol/drug rehabilitation, post traumatic stress disorder treatment, a domiciliary program, a mental health intensive case management program, a day treatment center, and other mental health outpatient programs.

Other specialized medical services include: audiology, dental, dermatology, dietetics, ear/ nose/throat, gastroenterology, laboratory, neurology, ophthalmology, pharmacy, physical rehab medicine, podiatry, prosthetics and sensory aids, radiology, respiratory therapy, sexual trauma counseling, skills training, social work, urology, and women’s wellness.
