Visitor Information

Visiting Rules and Regulations
We welcome your family and friends to visit you. Children under the age of 14 are generally not permitted to visit, however special arrangements may be made through your nurse manager. Children are usually not allowed because of the danger of infection to the children, you, and other patients. For that reason, please remind your visitors that food should not be brought to the Medical Center. Special restrictions may apply on the Psychiatry and Substance Abuse Units. Please speak with staff in these areas for specific rules.

Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. daily, with the following exception:
Visiting with patients who are seriously ill will be permitted at any time and limited only to the patient's health condition.
9 Building- Visiting hours from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. dependant upon individual programming/ scheduling requirements.
Waiting Room
There are waiting rooms throughout our Medical Center. Please consult a nurse or Patient Services Assistant (PSA) for the location of the nearest waiting room.

Parking
Parking areas have been designated for visitors, employees and outpatients. Inpatients are advised to keep their cars at home because of the limited parking in the area. For questions or concerns, contact the VA police. The speed limit on the Medical Center grounds and the immediate area is 20 mph.
