Could you and your family afford to stay in a hotel for the duration of treatments or would you have to leave your loved ones behind and deal with the difficult situation alone?
The Problem...
The VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York serves a population of almost 600,000 veterans across a wide geographic area. Veterans throughout this area utilize the medical centers as their primary health care provider. Many of them do not need hospitalization, but require treatments which could be performed on an outpatient basis if they lived in the immediate area.
