Dr. Ronald W. Toseland is Director and Professor, Institute of Gerontology, School of Social Welfare, University at Albany, State University of New York, and a licensed clinical social worker practicing part-time at the Consultation Center. He serves on a number of editorial boards including Gerontological Social Work, Social Work With Groups, and Small Group Research. He has published 5 books and over 80 articles and book chapters, many of which have focused on clinical practice with the frail and chronically ill elderly and their family caregivers.
