Veterans Day Celebrations
Dedication of the new Veterans Park took place at VA Western New York Healthcare System (VAWNYHS) at Buffalo on Thursday, November 9. Don Paul, weatherman – WIVB Channel 4 served as the Master of Ceremonies.   VAWNYHS at Buffalo held a Veterans Day ceremony on Saturday, November 11. Colonel James Germain, Niagara Falls Air Reserve Base and Buffalo Mayor, Byron Brown take time to lay a memorial wreath remembering veterans from all war times.

      Check Presentation
    Sons of the American Legion, Eden, N.Y., present a check for $4,100 to VAWNYHS from proceeds received at their annual Golf Raffle. Some of the funds ($2,000) will go to help WNY veteran wheelchair athletes offset their costs for attending the 2007 National Veterans Wheelchair Games in Milwaukee, WI.
