Bypassing the Back Button
|
|
In your lifetime so far, how many times have you clicked your Web browser's Back button? 10,000? 100,000? a million?
Here's a Web browser tip that will save you from clicking the Back button several times in a row when you want to jump back several pages at once to a previous location.
Internet Explorer:
In the top left corner of the screen, use your mouse to click the tiny arrow just to the right of the actual Back button. The arrow drops down a menu displaying the titles of the last several websites you've visited, in reverse order.
Netscape Navigator:
You'll see the small downward-pointing arrow integrated into the Back button. To activate the menu of visited pages, click and hold down your mouse button over the Back button.
- The Forward button also offers this feature to let you skip forward several pages.
