Creating Web Page Shortcuts
|
|
You can easily create a shortcut to the currently loaded Web page:
- Drag and drop the small Internet Explorer (IE) document icon to a folder or your desktop. You can use either the IE icon in the Address Bar, or the icon at the top left of the open window, either will work.
- Right-click a Web page and choose Create Shortcut. A shortcut will be placed on your desktop.
- You can also use your Favorites menu to web pages you want to revisit. From the pull down menus choose Favorites > Add to Favorites. The secret keyboard shortcut Ctrl + D also adds the current web page to your Favorites.
- It doesn't take long for your Favorites menu to become cluttered. Use the Favorites > Organize Favorites... menu command to rename, delete, or file your links into custom folders.
