Of Distinctive Spanish-Pueblo design - this building assembly of the Veterans Administration Hospital presents a striking landmark. Occupying over 500 acres on the high mesa five miles east of downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico, it is almost a small village in itself. This hospital is a complete G.M.S. (General-Medical-Surgical) unit with a capacity for 295 patients and a personnel of 250.

Occupying 515 acres of land 5 miles east of Albuquerque, New Mexico, the new Hospital for Ex-soldiers of all wars the U.S. has been engaged in, was built at a cost of $1,250,000.00 and has the capacity of caring for 262 patients with provisions for an increase of twice that number. There are approximately 250 employees including executives, physicians, nurses, etc.
