Of Distinctive Spanish-Pueblo design - this building assembly of the
Veterans Administration Hospital presents a striking landmark. Occupying
over 500 acres on the high mesa five miles east of downtown Albuquerque,
New Mexico, it is almost a small village in itself. This hospital is a complete
G.M.S. (General-Medical-Surgical) unit with a capacity for 295 patients
and a personnel of 250. |

Occupying 515 acres of land 5 miles east of Albuquerque, New Mexico,
the new Hospital for Ex-soldiers of all wars the U.S. has been engaged in,
was built at a cost of $1,250,000.00 and has the capacity of caring for
262 patients with provisions for an increase of twice that number. There
are approximately 250 employees including executives, physicians, nurses,
