Erected at a cost of about $2,500,000 on an elevated site, this building furnishes hospitialization to veterans from Kentucky and several other states. It is a general hospital but also receives neuropsychiatric patients. One of the most modern institutions of its kind -- PM 1937
The Administration Building was erected in 1931, and at present time the 1,100 bed neuropsychiatric hospital serves male Veterans of Kentucky and nearby states. PM 1962
